This is a budgeted phone from Motorola & Google. Many people are planning to buy this after watching the great success of Nexus from LG ( Google) But guys there is a huge difference between nexus n MOTO G, even in price, features & after sales service. Here are few points which should be taken care before you plan to buy this.
1) It's quite disappointing that two basic amenities USB Cable & Headphones aren't packed with Moto G. So you need to spend more bucks to get these items, because these both are equally important. How can Google be so irresponsible.
2) Lack of a micro SD memory card slot is a major drawback. As it comes in 8GB & 16 GB variants, & in 8 GB variant you get hardly 4-5 GB for use which is very low memory so absence of memory card slot ll create a big issue.
3) The Moto G has a 5-mega-pixel camera which is only good for photographs to be taken in bright daylight. Which means very poor low light performance. Videos too are very awful.
4) As Motorola has very few service centres so after sales service will be very poor. As you wont get a service centre in small towns.
Whereas in Micromax Canvas 4 which comes in the same budget but which has a better camera, memory card slot, better after sales service & it also comes with USB cable & headphones. So do consider all these aspects before buying this phone. So Consider all points before buying MOTO G.
